Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) contain a large range of communications-based information, control and electronics technologies. When this technology integrates into the transportation system, it can help monitor the flow of traffic and reduce congestion.

NedTec has designed its own system (e.g. Public Transportation Management System, Traffic Signal Control System, Electronic Tolling Collection System, Automatic Vehicle Identification), which we have introduced this to the Chinese government and other companies. We have included in our systems how to manage traffic flow and enhancing productivity, which can save lives on the road, time and money.

The public transportation management system includes several sub systems, such as intelligent dispatching system, bus station management system and passenger information publishing system. NedTec has designed the new system according to the Chinese manual dispatching system. It has been applied and passed the evaluation of the National Construction Ministry with success.

TSC system is the key element of ITS, because it controls traffic on the road, as well as speed of vehicles. This system can improve the overall environmental performance.

Another system provided by NedTec, ETC system, is used to let drivers equipped with a transponder where they are able to automatically pay tolls without stopping at a tollbooth. This can definitely reduce the operating costs, traffic congestions and emissions that are the main cause of pollution while on the other hand providing reliability and accuracy.
